Fleuressence

The annual spring flower display is on at David Jones in the City and Mum and I popped in with J this week to have a peek. We've taken O for the past two years and this year we took J (while O was at daycare). This year's theme is Fleuressence, a celebration of fragrance. Ooh, I'm so late with this post... as it ends today!

Rosa Dishwashia

Something to sweeten all the time I spend at the sink washin' them dishes: roses at the kitchen sink. I'm picking roses from our bushes and popping them where I'll get to enjoy them for hours on end: cooking, pureeing and washin' them dishes!

Le Printemps, Primavera, Spring!

David Jones Sydney City store - is a little further afield than Marrickville... however, a trip into town to check out the blossoms seems to be an annual spring outing for us! We took O last year, when he was 10months.

I seem to remember the flowers being more spectacular last year - but it's still worth a pop in to see if you are around those city parts. The flowers themselves are beautiful, while the arrangements did not stagger me! All the street window displays are decked out in flowers too and then pop inside to the ground floor more up close flower action - 30,000 flowers apparently!
